Darren Elwell was born in Bury in 1978, but was soon shunted to the glistening shores of Blackpool , where he has since remained.
Having always drawn, it became a natural step to work towards getting paid to do what he loved. In 2001 he graduated with a first class honours in Natural History Illustration and has since developed his skills to suit his own style.
Darren currently works as a freelance illustrator and high school art and graphics teacher.
